Tom and I were "checking out the lake" to see if the fishing is good enough to bring the scouts out for some fishing action... It was Good.
We were using 4WT and 5WT fly rods and the little gold "50 cent fly" with pink eyes. Here are just a few of the fun fish we caught.
Water temperature was 78 when we started at 10:30 and 81 around 2:00 pm.
Didn't see any spawning peacock bass, no schooling peacock bass, or cruising peacock bass... but the Red Devils were lots of fun and a few smaller (under 2 pound) size peacocks here and there.

Thanks Stan for the great photos and encouraging news that fish are surviving Lake Wilson's dramatic water level changes.
