FOR SALE: Peacock Bass

Postby roadwarriorsvt » Thu Jul 12, 2012 11:24 am

I'm selling my two cichla temensis peacock bass. These are NOT the species from Lake Wilson. It is illegal to keep those fish. This species is from South America. Each weighs about 6-7 pounds I'm guessing. They would need at least a 300 gallon tank for one fish. Got them listed on Craigslist.

SOLD !!! That didn't take long. Well, I was a little off regarding their sizes. They look alot smaller in the water. I have a standard size landing net (big) and the fish tail protruded out! One was around 8-9ounds and the other pushing 10 lbs. It was a monster! Oh well, I believe they went to a good home.
