Good news, the peacock bass have started to spawn. The guy fishing with Chris said he would send pictures. Largest of the 8.... weighed just over 4 pounds. They could have caught a lot more, but they wanted to catch only one of the two fish guarding the nest.... keep the stress to a minimum. Land the fish quickly, take a picture, and release it back close to the nest...... then move on to locate another spawning area. I think they did more looking and scouting than they did fishing. LOL
