This past Sunday, took my brother-in-law on a long overdue morning tuc outing. The water is high in the California grass and very murky (visibility 6-8 inches underwater), so no sight fishing. The water temperature is still a bit on the cooler side and so the tucs were not too active. Following the sound of tucs sucking in bait at the surface, we were still able to land and release 11 tucs, the largest two weighing 5 lb. 6 oz. and 4 lbs. even.
As the lake warms up and gets less murky, the tuc action will really pick up. See you out on the lake.

Lure Selection
Tucmaster,
What did you catch your fish on? We're you using lures or bait?
Thanks

live bait
Chris and his friend were using live bait twice this week. Their largest was a 4 1/2 pounder. Sounds like their action and yours was about the same. Just bragging a little, Chris fished the HFFA tournament on Sunday and took 3rd place. All Lures, but they still had some good action.
