Seems alot of the really skinny bass are caught up the north fork. I'm frequently seeing schools of threadfin shad like this one. At least its good to know the shad population appears encouraging.

Yep, love the high water ! High Water = higher oxygen level > more grass
for the shad eggs to stick on > shad starts to repopulate and school up >
Tucs and Bass have a field day.

Pray for rain to help offset what is being drained off. The shad needs this steady high water scenario to keep their population stable.

All week there has been a work crew at the lake water outlet building. They even have a big barge/boat in the water. Wonder if the outlet gates are stuck in the closed position.... water level doesn't seem to be dropping much.

Ya got to wonder. The lake has stayed at/near full pool for 6weeks now.
