Peacock spawning pair

Caught these two behind the apartments on 99 across the street from Wheeler/Schofield. I'm not all to familiar with the area, but I did get to charter with Chris back in Feb 09. When I came down on orders to actually move here all I could think about was peacock fishin again. I get here in Feb of this year and after many outings and trying different areas my youngest and i finally caught a pair. Well I pulled both in, and he got a pretty good sized tilapia.

I'm looking forward to the next outing. I'm also thinking about taking the kids out on charter when it gets a little more warm and active. Maybe June/July time.

Welcome to the site Giz. Thats a nice male Tuc! They will definitely get more active after the spawn when the water warms up.
