Recent Fish Reports?

Postby JeffFaulkner » Sat Apr 08, 2006 10:10 pm

The last three times I have been out on the lake we have not boated a single fish. I fished today and the water was 72 degrees. The clarity was unbelievabley bad. I decided to head to the south end where there are two inlets. I went up one knowing that the water would be warmer becasue is is shallower and less water flow. It was 80 degrees in the inlets. There was a lot of gar, tilapia and other fish actuvity but no peacocks. I saw three all day and the wanted nothing to do with anything that was in my box. I did see alot of fry that I believe all belonged to snakeheads. This no fishi thing is starting to affect my self esteem. If you guys are catching stuff let me know and I'll be reassured in my feelings. Pray for sun and clear water.

Hey Chris16, how is the sewage situation? Usually, when we have heavy rains the sewage treatment plant cann't the large volume of water going through the system and raw sewage gets dumped into the lake. Did you see any signs posted? I want to try if the weather gets better. Thanks in advance.
