Just getting ready for the start of the Society for Neuroscience meeting today here in San Diego. Got here a couple days early to fly fish for shark with Conway Bowman. Needless to say had a blast fishing for Mako and Blue sharks on fly. My smallest shark was 60 lbs, my largest was 200+lbs. I fished at 14 wt rod and now understand the importance of having a reel with a good drag, those fish can pull. I have attached a coupe of pictures.
