sunday
first lemme start by apologizing for my heavy handed partner who may have waked a few shore anglers, sorry hes used to much bigger lakes and i dunno why i let him drive.now fishing was extra tuff, water level is at or below 60ft and about 1ft clarity with a little better closer to the dam and much worse mauka. caught a nice 2.5lb tuc early on but after that it was dead, we beat water till 3pm and oddly enough caught a sucker fish and i managed to impale a shad on a swimbait, dont ask me how, guess one of the bait pods we were tracking was just soooo thick my bait was bound to get one.fianlly on the way in caught a second tuc that got off near the boat after 2 jumps. here tale Luke was dominating his dad again, but most we saw were nada on the day.doug was at the ramp upon our return and watch out got his boat ready to go for the 8th,although he says hes not to happy with the lure only rule.hope the water stabalizes or it wont be much of a tournament. i cant see 20 boats trying to fish it out with conditions so low and tuff, water will be have to be shared and the weigh in may be even tuffer with lack luster sacks.
