I went by the lake at 3:00 PM on Thursday and as you can see there are 5 of the narrow slabs showing. I also saw tire tracks where people have been launching their boats.....
Someone came in and cleaned up the broken glass, trash, fish hooks, and discarded fishing line (Thank You) Might have even shoveled out a little of the mud. (again, Thank You)
Neal said he backed his trailer in till the bass boat was almost floating, then push the boat off.... just needed to use a longer rope... He figures the ramp extends out another 10 feet or so. There is some mud, but as of now the boat ramp is useable.
Should be a good weekend. The fishing action has been hot all week..... Chris got some nice spawners on Monday. Neal caught 20+ peacocks Wed., just working the shoreline with his fly rod. The peacock bass are spawning. Even been a little schooling mentioned. Y'all have fun now, ya hear?
