well launching is gonna be impossible in a day or 2, was almost in trouble this morning i didnt think the water was deep enough straight in so i kitty cornered the boat and slipped off the slats into the mud. almost didnt get back out!! there is enough to go straight in. but not for long!!looked for the tuc bite early on but it was non existant, they were there, paired up in alot of places but would just sink slowly outa sight at any provocation.had one blowup on a topwater a miki miki flats but didnt hook up.water clarity wasnt bad in the main basin but southfork all the way to the sewage plant was pretty muddy.the lmb bite was on as usual caught close to 30 by 430 and every type of lure worked. just had to key on the right structure, figured id spill the beans seeing as it wont matter beyond tommarow hahahaha.anyways the past 2 weeks i have had the best luck on steep rocky banks, fish stacked up on them, fished in 10-12ft of water and worked several diffrent lures. throw a crankbait catch one or two then a spinnerbait and get another then jig then shakeyhead or dropshot. most spots i hit would produce 4-6fish if you gave em enough time. some even replenished after a few hours. the best rocky banks had a secondary point or some other oddity that seemed to attract fish. hope this helps those brave enough to launch tommarow! oh ya, its like basspro shops out there! just look along the bank theres all sorts of lures dangling here and there now thatthe water is so low, picked up maybe 7-8 lures and even found a fully rigged ready to fish shimano sienna reel and pole. someone wants to claim it just lemm know where you lost it and its yours! pretty good shape for being underwater, cant have been there long!! pray for rain!! and put some stabil in the gas cause its gonna be sittin awhile!!
