FYI Since Lake Wilson changed to a catch and release policy all Tucunare and Largemouth bass must be released immediately after capture.
This includes holding fish in a livewell. As I understand, the Bass clubs must obtain a special waiver for their tournaments to allow for the holding of tucs and bass in livewells. The waiver is in place only for the duration of the tournament(s).
It looks like you really know your stuff about the safe handling of the bass and tucs in your livewell. I wish everybody was so knowledeable and careful. However, if a DLNR enforcement officer happened to come by the ramp and see those fish in your livewell, you could still be cited for a violation of the lake's catch and release rule.
Hope this helps
