As I'm typing now, I'm waiting for the second major cell to reach Toronto. We just had one cell pass right over North York and what a freaking light show!!!
I'm going to stay up a bit for the second cell to reach us...even if it means falling asleep at work tomorrow
I missed two great strikes...both exceptionally impressive...and right in my field of view...when I was adjusting some settings...All I could do was watch the strike on my LCD screen
Hopefully Phase 2 will be here in 1.5 hours...I'm gonna miss this balcony vantage point when I move in 2 weeks
Anyways...
Sunset before the storm...
First successful capture...
Weak cloud-to-cloud...
That's a little better...
Another weak one...

Well...the second cell passed south of North York...so the Toronto people got an amazing show. Since my balcony faces NORTH I got more glow than anything else! I had my camera facing northwest...and most of the action was going off northeast. By the time I point my camera northeast, half the storm has passed by Also lots of lightning going off overhead...which I can't shoot...
Let's just say it was lucky I got one...and a very nice one at that. I wish that condo was not in the way though
Freaking light show!
