It's been almost a month and the fish seem to have started hanging around the fish feeder.
The Feeder:
I ordered a Wildlife Feeder from Cabalas. It's a 5 gallon bucket with a small electric motor on the bottom and a timer that releases the feed at sunrise and sunset. The feeder is filled with dog food.
Location:
If you stand on the boat launch ramp and look straight down the ramp and accross the lake..... It's hanging by a white rope from a tree limb out over the water. Just head up stream (to the left) and accross from the boat ramp. You can't miss it. (See Map)
The Fish:
So far I've caught fish every time I've visited the feeder. Mostly catfish and peacock bass. I've seen some red devils and koi. I was using live bait. The largest fish I've been able to land ( I broke line at least 12 times) was a 2 3/4 pound catfish and a 4 pound peacock bass. (See Picture)
Well, now you know where it is. Please stop by and take advantage of a "baited" Honey Hole.
