Honeymoon Memories

If you like to bass fish..... and your visiting Hawaii for your honeymoon.... and your lovely young bride enjoys fishing as much as you do.... Well, this is the way memories are made.

Yuki starts the dance with this nice peacock bass.

Then Ryo connects with the first of some nice big red devils.

Followed by a bluegill. We're starting to see a lot more blue gills on the lake.

Can you believe it, a channel catfish. You can tell the channel cats, they are the ones with the forked tail.

What's a trip to Lake Wilson with out a peacock bass. We saw lots of big, really big, peacock bass.... but they were just not interested in any thing we tossed to them. Lures or live bait. Even the spawning peacocks were not interested in having their pictures taken.

Yuki connects with another "black devil". We're catching more and more of these aggressive guys lately too.

Ryo adds another exotic fish species to his list... Stan, kori wa???
I thinks that's called a Five Bar General.

the most accurate caster catches the most fish, but the most experienced photographer appears to catch the biggest... why is that? where do you find those 8lb. red devils stan? i've never caught one over 3/4lb.

Well, two things.....

For some reason I wasn't asleep that day in photography class when they said:
"What ever is closest to the camera looks the biggest."

And.... first you have to be smarter than the camera.
