Plenty Peacocks

The spawning peacock bass are every where.
The largest was 3 1/2 pounds. Nice one Milton.
Most were around 2 pounds. Where are all the big fish?
We'll just keep looking.
There are still a bunch that look like they want to spawn,
but run away when you cast at them.
Some are very aggressive and almost swallow your lure.
It's easy to tell the male fish with that big hump on their head.
Water level has been stable all week. On the South Fork,
that trestle looks like part of a big beaver dam...
all that stuff washed down from the December storms I guess.
It was really muddy up that way making it imposable to
spot any spawners.
Can't get a boat past that.
The red devils are still plentiful and very co-operative.
