Wow
The water level is way down. pretty soon you'll be able to see that yellow car at the bottom of the boat ramp. This picture is taken from the road.
We saw lots of peacock bass and red devils. They would run when we cast to them... really spooky. Someone told me she caught a 5 pound peacock bass on a big live tilapia... If the peacock bass are not spawning, they soon will be.
I had the pleasure of fishing with James and James this morning. Lucky for dad they weren't playing "Dollar, Dollar, Dollar" "first fish, most fish, and largest fish. James had 4 fish before dad got a strike.
First there was a catfish...
Then lost one red devil at the boat, and landed this one....
Next was this big red devil. Followed by several more red devils.
A peacock bass was then hooked and landed.... all by himself.
Dad and I helped with the netting and picture taking.
We let Dad land the biggest fish of the day.... this big catfish....
Quickly followed by a peacock bass.
Thank you James and James, for a fun day on the water.
Aloha,
Stan
