took my buddy out for some devil sight fishing. perfect lake weather, overcast, cool and not a drop of rain. saw no one out except for a guy in a canoe with a young kid live baiting off of mikimiki flats. they caught a bunch of peacocks (which is always good when there are kids involved). north fork from tuc bay up was kind of murky. maybe waters coming in maybe it was the strong variables blowing every which way and the low water. the grand slam fly was king. the guy i was fishing with used it all day while i fished a bunch of other RND flies. i caught a ton of devils (with a great deal more effort... just the way i like it) while my friend caught a megaton. choke devils everywhere... stan you would have loved it. also a bunch of tucs but nothing to write home about.

Glad to hear it was a good day. Where is Tuc bay? Before the steel bridge? Quansan hut area?

I've sighted several bass (not Tucs) near the end of the north fork. The LMB were really heavy up there this past summer/fall. Maybe its a sign the water is warming and they are returning to the north fork area!! :)

Tuke bay is "Z" on the map. Morgans Pt. is "X". (X marks the spot)
