What To Try Next?

We caught fish, several peacock bass and red devils each. All on live bait.
Everyone could say they caught a few peacock bass. :D

Even caught a largemouth bass. :o

We fished all over the place, a fish here, a fish there....

Water temperature got up to 76/77 degrees just before noon. Only a foot or so water visibility. Wind was strong. It was tough fishing..... any ideas on what might be working?

I was thinking of "running & gunning" the shoreline with jerk baits and bass assassins.... if we get a chase, start tossing live baits.
Small crank baits fished slow will probably catch a few red devils... might even hook a few peacock bass.
What do you think?
:?: :?: :?:
I'm open to ideas and suggestions.

Snorkel and scuba mask...if you see them, ask the people in the boat to cast live bait at it

I'm just wondering...you guys ever tried frogs?

I would suggest saltwater fishing but that is even worse than freshwater fishing! Caught some halalu over the weekend, but that is on and off.

Well, the game plan didn't work out.... so we went to plan B.

Caught a few red devils on the small crank baits...
But the hot lure was a 1/64oz jig head with an olive color plastic twister tail. The red devils, (and 2 peacock bass) just loved it. On 4# test spinning tackle the red devils put up a real good fight.

Not one fish on live bait.... nada.

A little rain, lots of wind, water visibility 1/2 to 1 foot, water temp 76/77.
