Friday - No Fish

Postby Stan Wright » Sat Dec 20, 2008 4:12 pm

Well, there were 4 of us out on Friday tossing spinner baits, crank baits and worms..... nothing.

Water temperature in the lake was 70.7 and 66.8 degreese up by the waterfall. Lots of floating rubbish... some big logs.

I wonder if the HFFA bass tournament is still on for Sunday?

Muddy, muddy, muddy.
This is the 80 foot marker on the north end of Boy Scout Island. When the water level is at the line at the bottom of this post...(it's now under water) then the water level of the lake is at the level of the spillway.

This is looking at all the floating rubbish by the spillway. If the water level comes up a foot so the water flows over the spillway... all this stuff should end up in the ocean in Haleiwa.

This is Morgans point as we move up stream.

I think this log...... big tree, is stuck on the point.

If all the rubbish gets washed down to Haleiwa, better go trolling the rubbish line. I read that people in Mexico fish the edge between brown water and green water for mahimahi in the rainy season and do pretty well. I can see some papio and ulua working that mud line
