How is the Fishing?

Postby palmettopete » Mon Feb 25, 2008 9:39 pm

Has anyone been out on the lake recently? I want to go out this coming weekend and I am hoping someone has good news to tell everyone about their recent trip! Thanks!

Friday Morning, Feb 29.....

Chris called me today (3 times) and was babbling on about schooling tukes. Schooling all over the lake.... taking any and all lures.... and catching several 5 pound peacock bass.

He's usually very secretive about his fishing, But the way he was going on I don't think was another...."Fishinnnnnnnnnnnnn' Tale"

See you guys on the lake tomorrow. :D

Sat, Mar 1st.

Fish weren't schooling as much this morning as yesterday, but we still had enough action to have fun.

We also found fish along the shoreline with steep banks Saw lots more than we caught.

Now if we'd had some live bait...........
