We went today for the first time, rented a small kayak and fished most of the morning, and afternoon. bite was terrible, caught one oscar and a big bluegill. Met Stan on our way out, apparently they had a bad day too. Look forward to see'n n hear'n bout your fish, see you on the lake.

If remember correctly from last year you can find tucs busting in the moring during the winter you can find tucs busting. At least it was that way last year. It REALLY shut down when the tucs started spawing a lot I think around March to July'ish. Towards the end of July is when I remember the tucs to start schooling up again.

We caught a few using live bait on Sunday afternoon. Nothing really big. Landed 3 fish that were tagged so Clay will send in the information to find out their history. Peacock bass started schooling and chasing shad later in the afternoon around Morgans Pt and Tuke Bay. Caught a few on lures.

I would love to be "out there" soon but I'll be in Pensacola for a school till the middle of June. Probably back to fishing in July. Maybe see you then, I'm sure I'll run into to sometime I'll be on island till June 2011.
