Here are the pictures of Kiyoshi and Keiko. (see Last Cast, Big Fish)
That 6 1/2 pound peacock bass is a real "Lunker", way above average for Hawaii. Are they having fun, or what??? Congratulations.

I scrolled down to the second picture and thought "That peacock and swallow the largemouth whole!"...and then I saw the third picture

Awesome looking fish!

Nice fish! You know what I don't understand? Why those damn boga grips cost so much money! I'd rather just keep tearing up my fingers than fork out that much dough for fish grabber. Anyone know if there is much quallity difference from the boga to less expensive versions?

Lots of difference. You can get the $20 to $30 dollar ones at Sports Athurity.... they don't have the built in scale and don't grab as good... You get what you pay for. LOL
Speaking of cost.... notice I put those floats on mine...after... I lost one overboard. Should have had a float on those two cell phones and those fishing rods I guess.

I have the Bass Pro brand grip and it works great. It only $20 and has a scale.

I agree with Lrry93. Ca_Bass, save your fingers and buy the bass pro model, it works for me (so far). The scale reads in only 1 pound increments, I think the boga grip scale goes by 1/2 pound increments. I also have used it in saltwater and so far so good. I can not afford a boga grip!

Tks for the info, I've been wanting one of those scales/grips for awhile now, but I couldn't bring myself to pay for a boga grip.
