This afternoon Florence and I went out for about an hour. All we had were two ultra light spinning outfits loaded with 4# test. As usual, the 2 inch white Senko was all that was needed. Here are some pictures of our four largest... the 3 and 4 pounders. The peacock bass were schooling and chasing shad on the surface... Near Blue Boat Point. The fish are staying near the surface longer so there is a much better chance of hooking up. Average size was about 2 pounds.

Sorry I didn't get more pictures of the other boats fish. I was having trouble driving the boat, taking the pictures, and landing a fish all at the same time. Especially when my wife was asking for help to net her fish. Those guys did get lots of nice ones too.

I spent too much time that day chasing fish that I killed my two trolling motor batteries, my buddy and I paddled back a little bit past blue boat point with sticks......I left my paddles in my other truck....never gonna do that again :(

They were busting all around Boy Scout Island yesterday and today. And over in that area by Cow Point where I first saw you.

I had to row back one day... lucky I had the paddles. I've towed several guys in also.

See you this weekend.
