This was one of those days when everything went right. Got on the lake after 1:30 PM and headed to Quonset Hut point. Fished both sides up toward the Bridge and back... Choke big peacock bass... I was using a Tenkara rod with 4# test and a 3 Wt Fly rod with 6# test line so I didn't want to tangle with any of those big bruisers... and there had to be some 5 or 6 pounders... easy. The Red devils were very co operative taking all kinds of small flys.. even a bluegill and a few of that other tilapia looking kind of fish... The peacock bass I caught were al caught by accident... rushing in to grab the fly away from an RD or Bluegill. It was an exciting 3 hours fishing.
