Went out today with a buddy from work, we did pretty good. Found a few schooling tukes but they weren't steadily busting the surface. The one schooling fish we caught was a little over 3lbs. Caught another tuke about 1.5lbs. The rest were dinks. Didn't get onto the lake until about 1045am. Fishing was steady all day. With most of the surface action/schooling around 5pm, there was a little bit starting around 2 or so but consistent enough to pursue.

Chris reported pretty much the same thing. Small ones, but 5 or 6 nice ones. They enjoyed themselves.

I think the peacockbass fishing will get better towards the end of the month. More fish will be schooling by then, and less will be spawning. Looking back at last years posts, the fish started busting on shad around this time of the month but the fishing was inconsistant. I think we are following the same trend this year. June and July are slow months for me.
