6.5 Pound Peacock Bass

Opy sent me a picture of this 6.5 pound Peacock Bass. I guess they are still spawning.
Yesterday they ran out of bait at 60 fish total. Today they quit fishing and wanted to go home after catching 100 fish in 2 hours. (live bait, near Boy Scout Island) Peacock bass move around a lot.. wonder if they will be there for me on Saturday? LOL

Hey Stan. Went yesterday from about 17:30. Caught 15. I haven't gone for several months. I was picking them off one by one at first. Worked over a school late. Most were about a pound. I only saw one pair but I believe most of the adults are still spawning. Good luck over the weekend.

I went on Saturday… live baited all around the outfall and BSA island… nada. Caught red devil, bluegill, and a catfish… not one peacock bass. Didn't see any schooling fish.
Sure was better than doing chore around the house though. LOL
