Well, the good news… there is still schooling action going on
at the lake.
DeRick Duer caught this one within a few minutes.
Yes, that is a gold CastMaster in the fishes mouth.
What do you do if you have a fish on and suddenly the water
all around the boat starts erupting with largemouth and peacock
bass chasing shad? You grab a second rod and cast…
Now what happens when you have a fishing rod in each hand
and a fish on each rod? Well you don't get any help from me…
I already have my hands full with a fish on my rod too.
Yes, I landed my fish.
Bad News… my favorite ultra-light, 2 piece fishing rod…
is now a 3 piece rod. Note to self… Be careful when pushing the rod
deep into the water to avoid the line being cut when the fish runs
under the boat… rod can get caught in boat cleat.
(Still got the fish)
Other than the schooling action, things were a little slow.
Did catch a few, but the schooling action was the best.

An exciting time was had by all.
