Me and a buddy got to the lake at about 12:30pm. Conditions: Partly sunny.. Water level up from the rain the night before.. Water not murky but not clear I could only see about 2ft down with my polarized sunglasses. When we first arrived we saw a school of about 4 to 5 medium peacock bass schooling and thought it was going to be a good day. In actuality it was pretty slow. Some are spawning and the males have the bumps on their head. My friend caught a nice female and I caught two males. Threw lures with no success (just a few hits) only caught on live bait.
