Did anyone hit the lake this weekend?

Hey Charles, went yesterday, May 8. Went from 16:30 to 18:30. I do not like to fish after the rain but I guess I really wanted to try. Haven't tried for a while so I decided to run and gun to find fish. Ended up with 19 tucs, all small between 5 to 10 inches. 5 years ago that might have been fish between 1 to 3 pounds but now days that is more the norm (small ones). Maybe the adults are spawning, caught one with a lump on the head. Missed 5 in a row at one point. Always check your hooks, I checked after the 5th miss, and the rear trebles were bent out. Bent the hooks back. Caught the next strike. The water appears to be dropping and the water is looking more murky.
