Spawning Largemouths

After a bit of exploring last week I found out where the largemouth were spawning at my local lake. The spawn is one of the best yet annoying times to be fishing. As I walked along the shore I saw a bunch of bass on beds (around thirty) and could only get 4 of the small males to bite. The males went about 2-3lbs each, but I saw one female that was at least an 11lber. The fish I caught all bit a local made white 1/2 oz sight fishing jig with a white twintail grub trailer and a red hook. Sorry for the lack of pictures, but I will try to get some next time.
