Day 2... Missouri River

Postby Stan Wright » Wed Aug 29, 2012 4:51 pm

:D
A lot more action today... and larger rainbow trout. Smoke from all the forest fires makes it look like thick fogg. Wind is gusting 30 to 40. Hard to cast, but if you get it in the right place, they hit.

Remember the movie... "The Untouchables", well this is the bridge in the movie.

Fly of choice today... a crawfish with a black nympth dropper. Hard to believe those big trout eat such little bugs.

Tower Rock... Lewis and Clark climbed to the top of this rock, looked east into the prarie, then toward the mountains and said; "This is a rockie mountain"... and that boys and girls is how the "Rocky Mountains" got their name.

We had a geat day... Chris into another fish...

Chris posted all the pictures he took on the Facebook Page...
Hawaii Bass Fishing.

Toby also posted a picture on their Fins & Feathers Facebook page.

It's a lot easier for him to add a bunch of pictures to Facebook than one at a time here on the Fourm Page... harder to write captions though.
