caught this guy on sunday on a creature bait, weightless. my biggest smallmouth in a while.

totally! if i didnt have 6 pound flouro i would have broken off. rubbing against branches and rocks. ill try to find some better pics of it.t

Nice bronzeback! Stream fishing is the best! Wish I was young again and had strength, energy, and knees that still worked like they were supposed to! I'd be there with you.

I was thinking the same thing... there is no way I'll ever be able to hike into your secret spots. If I did make it in... they would have to call "Search & Rescue" to get me out.

better pic of the smallie, id much rather catch a 1 pound smallmouth than a 5 pound peacock haha.

I had a LOT of fun bushwhacking, falling down, getting bit by mad mosquitos, hunting wild chickens and catching smallies on my last trip to Malama Aina.
