Extreme Fishing TV

Postby Stan Wright » Mon Dec 19, 2011 8:38 pm

:D
Chris and I were fishing today with Robson Green, host of the
Extreme Fishing show. They are visiting Hawaii for a few weeks
and wanted to try some freshwater fishing. Robson is an
actor from Northern England (stage, movie, and TV) who has
traveled the world for the last 3 years on one "extreme" fishing
adventure to the next.

Check this out.

Anyway, here is a shot of Robson. That's Tommy loading up
the crew in the background. He was nice enough to serve as
camera boat.

Is that a Prototype t-shirt from Chris' shop?

It was a contest between Robson and me. Dollar, dollar, dollar.
$1 for the 1st fish. $1 for the most fish. $1 for the largest fish.
This is the first fish of the day.

As you can see, it was a beautiful, sunny Hawaiian day.

So, you want to be a camera man on a TV fishing show do you?
Image

This is about as "extreme" fishing as we did today.

Tommy did a great job positioning the "camera boat"...
No, the sound man isn't concentrating... he's asleep.

It was a really fun day fishing with Robson and the Extreme Fishing
crew.
They said the show would air in about 6 or 7 months... I'll pass
along the time and channel when it airs.
Yea, yea, yea... Robson and Chris gave me a fishing lesson today...
and I gave them $3.

Here is Stan, Chris, and Robson doing some introductions at the boat ramp.

Stan had a cameraman on his boat also.

It took about 5 hours to get enough good footage for a 30 minute segment! I had a great time Stan. Thanks again for the invite. Any day on the lake is better than being at work, but some of those downpours had me thinking twice about that!
