On Sunday we joined the gang at Morgans for a while. The first three fish I caught were largemouths. Then I caught a tagged fish(tuc) # 3536.
Got busy with work and never posted it. Thursday morning I had the same idea as roadwarrior. I was boat # 4 on the lake. Hit Morgans first. Saw a guy named Darren working the bank. He hikes in from the road ! That is a real man. He proceeded to put on a clinic for my personal viewing pleasure. One tuc after the next using different lures. I threw out a live bait and got nothing. Left that soak and started to throw my own lures. Nothing. And Darren keeps pulling them in, one after the other. In a kids baseball game, we would have invoked the mercy rule ! He even felt so bad that he offered me one of his lures to try. I finally picked up a few before I left, but I swear he got at least twenty-five fish to my two. He is the master of the stroke.I went down the bank towards BBP. I picked up another tagged fish - # 3536 again. He had traveled back towards the dam a few thousand yards. He still weighed in at 3lb. I want to post a pic of Darren, but it is still in my camera.
