"Choke" Fish

It's a Hawaii thing... It means a lot of something...
As in: "We caught choke fish today."
It started slow... there has been schooling action early in the morning.
But today the fish were choosy about what they wanted to eat.
So after about 2 hours it was off to the "secret spot" to try live bait.
That's why I like fishing on week days. Not as many people fishing in my secret spots. ( I'm not going to mention Morgans Pt, because everyone knows it's been the hot spot all week)
Fast action from the word go. Just toss the live bait into the water and hang on. Caught just about as many largemouth bass as peacock bass.
Most of the largemouth were on the smaller side, but lots of them.
The peacock bass were hard fighting and the largest was just over 4 pounds.
After all the bait was used up, the action was over.
Today it was NO Bait, NO Fish.
But while the bait lasted it was "choke" fish.
