Freshwater garfish (Xenentodon cancila)...common name according to FishBase. I think I said Asian needlefish in our email...which the common name was based off USGS...either way...the genus and species is correct (that's why I always list my fish with genus and species because local names could be different...but scientific taxonomy will always be correct
