:D
It was fast action on nympths all morning...
Landed 20+ rainbow and brown trout. More and larger fish today.
Most were 14 to 18 inch.
The stone fly with lightning bug on a 12 inch dropper.

Even landed a few White Fish.

The Yellowstone was clear with still a little higher flow
than normal. Some interesting white water stretches.
Lots of boats on the river.
Notice the haze from the forrest fires.

The afternoon was devoted to "Hopper" fishing. The trout
were taking grasshopper flys with wild surface strikes...
20+ fish in the afternoon. A wild day. I was using the
Tenkara Amago, and Ayu. No problem landing those
14 to 18 inch fish. Really boosted my confidence in the
Tenkara rods ability to land larger fish.
(But... more research is needed)

Brown Trout.

When the other guys large fish jumps over your line...
some tangles can only be resolved with a line clipper.
"We" landed the fish.

Hana' paa... fish on. One of the other Fins & Feathers boats.

End of another perfect day of fishing.
A buffalo fillet at Ted's Montana Grill.

Love all the pics and adventures, Stan!

My friend calls those Rocky Mountain Whitefish "Pinocchio" because of that pointed snout. He said the fish develops that kind of snout when they spend most of the time on bottom grubbing. Not sure how true that is...but certainly interesting. :D

Thanks for the email links to the pictures by the way :D
