Finally found a big one!

Went out today around noon. Fished up and down all the usual areas, looked for schooling fish...nothing..not even a nibble.. found a small largemouth around BSI at about 4pm..didn’t catch anything else. The sun was beaming and we decided to look for some shade so we headed toward the Ironwood area. Second cast into a nice shady area I hooked up to a decent largemouth that made a nice jump and spit the spinner bait. We pulled up to a nice tree stump and a few floating tires, threw my spinner bait near the tree and then this big Gal swallowed it up....She weighed in at 4.2lbs 
....This is my biggest largemouth to date.. can’t imagine what a 7pounder feels like.
