Hit the lake Sunday afternoon with a load of tilapias in my livewell. Shared a few with Roadwarrior out by the dam. Hooked this bad boy with a big hump in the trees. Picked a bad day to leave my new Boga Grip scale ( a x-mas gift ) at home. I estimate him to be 5 1/2 plus.

Image Also got this little humper off BBP. We had a good afternoon. Plenty of tucs and a few largemouth too. First time back to the lake since my trip to El Salto. Sorry to be so late with that report, but just too busy to write about it. Soon !

Am I to understand that Blue Boat Point is coming back to the good old days of yesteryear?

All I can tell you is that for about 45 minutes late Sunday afternoon, it was going off. They wanted little midoka and tilapia sunk down deep. I ran out of small bait and left to throw the last of my bigger tilapia in the trees before it got dark. Not sure how the bite went after we left. Maybe the dynamic duo can let us know ??? It was summer- like action , but nothing too big. Just fun !

Hey Pegasus thanx for posting up those pix of me and batman! Since I haven't figured Joe to do that yet.
It was nice to fish bbp with u and Luke
Yup we had a glimpse of summer this weekend. As u mentioned they were a bit picky the first hour and weren't into the feeders at first, mostly only takin the medakas, and your tilaps. But we stayed til dusk and it turned on in the last half hour or so, and they started hitting feeders, pretty much nonstop. Caught about 30 fish total. 5 cookie cutter 1' lmbs, and 25 pb. Biggest were 18" and they were fun on the 5'6" fenwick ul w/6# mono and no branches to worry about. Batman got tuckered battlin them, so I got to pick up the slack.
It was the best few hours of fishing we've had for a while now.
And Stan took your advice and. Am now using the little ah and circle hooks which seems to be helping.
Thanks
Hope the bite holds up thru next weekend! :D :D
