Decided to squeze in a little fishing after work today. This is one of my best top water lures. A few casts later, its safe up in the trees! This little largemouth had a nice belly on him. Got a couple of hits on a black frog as well. This and a cold beer is a great way to end a day!

yep nice way to unwind! man you gotta invest in a telescopic lure retriever, they pay for themselves the first trip!! only cost like 18-30$ i got the bigger one from basspro after my other one went in the drink. the bigger one is a bit unwieldy but 20ft in a tree or 20ft on a submerged tree and 90% of the time you can get em back!! your docks looking a bit dry there hahahaha

Tiny Torpedo! My best memory of that lure is at Lake Conroe in Texas when a water snake started chasing my lure for a few seconds. Scary! Does that snap swivel weigh the lure down at all?

Yea, I've gotta clean and re-stain after the rainy season. This is the regular size Torpedo. I have the Tiny Torpedos as well. The swivel is fine on this full size rig.

Well, I will give you credit on the lure. The clear Tiny Torpedo is my favorite top water lure.
Did I forget to give you those lock back swivels? If you insist on using a swivel at least use a good one.

I also noticed you didn't bend the barbs down on the hooks... well at least if you hook yourself lipping bass there are a bunch of good looking "doctors"
right there in the "village".

Thats right. If I get stuck, I'll just rub some papaya seed on it. Jungle medicine at its best!
