Try go to the Rain Gauge site and set the days for 2.

The water level is comming up fast and we have a lot more rain in the forcast.

Me thinks those folks that refuse to move out of the flood area around Wailua and Haleiwa had best be heading for higher ground. You know the guy... every time it floods the TV News shows him standing knee-deep in his yard pointing to his floating car.

The alke water level usually continues to rise 1-3 days after it stops raining. Thats how long it takes for all the rain in the mountians to make its way down.

Got the boat repaired, so will take it out for a "test flight" on Wed.
I'm interested to see what the lake looks like.

Hi Stan,
My friend and I enjoyed fishing Friday afternoon with Chris. PB weren't too active but Chris was able to put us on a few fun ones. little medakas were the ticket for us.
Because my buddy was only in town for a few days we were xxx hardcore and fished in the pouring rain on Sun and Mon. Had the lake to ourselves. Water was way up. Picked up about 25 lmb up to about 17" on sun, the little guys were chasing Shad raps, rattle traps, and plastics around, as well as hitting craw type plastic off the pts.
Very little action with live bait. Mon they weren't chasing? But ended up getting a few nice tucs 3-4#s on medakas by bsi.
My buddy was soaked but happy.

Looks like if I'm going to catch any fish, I'm going to have to go with you.
You must have been using some "smaller" hooks?

Just a matter of skill and self confidence... you've come a long way in a short time!

What, to much rain to take pictures?

Yup recommended smaller hooks so we went with the size 10 ah hooks u recommend and that seemed to help with the small bait size.
Funny to catch 3-4# tucs on such a small hook. Don't think the hooks really make it clear all the way thru the lip. But they seem to hold.
I guess I need to figure out how to post fotos.
