The water temperature was on the cool side (74 degrees) from the last cold front..... so the action was a little on the slow side.
It was a beautiful day, and Randy got to spend the afternoon with his son Scott. As Randy said: "That's why they call it fishing and not catching."
Hope you guys can come back when the weather and the fishing action is a little hotter. It's a real pleasure to fish with with a skilled angler.
Aloha,
Stan

Hey Stan,
I guess that's the party I saw you fishing with. As I already told you, the day wasn't so good for me either. Better luck to us all next time.
Looks like a Shimano Curado baitcast reel there. Good reel.

My brother in Texas shops at a place called Academy Sports Center. A big chain store. Every year they have deal where when you buy a the Corado reel ($120) you get a rod ($40) for free. He saltwater fishes and goes through a couple reals a season. So it's a good deal for him. I told him to start buying some reels for me too. Only problem is that the rods are 6 to 7 feet long and one piece. Hard to mail. LOL
