Peacock Bass Action

Postby Stan Wright » Mon Nov 29, 2010 5:26 pm

Chris had a good morning... they caught some nice peacock bass.
It's good to hear the peacock bass are back on the feed. Last week
we saw fish, but they wouldn't bite. Wouldn't even look at my
live bait.

They were working the shore line using small white Senkos.
Just toss them out and reel them back in... just fast enough
to leave a "V" wake on the surface. (Did you ever notice
the shad swimming along leaving a "V" wake on the surface?)

Speaking of shad..... There was also some active schooling
in the same area... Chris said the action was so good along
the shoreline, they didn't bother with the schooling fish.

Chris ask me not to tell anyone where he was fishing.
Sorry. There were two other boats on the lake,
but we didn't see them all morning....
untill we rounded Blue Boat point headed back in.

I hope to get some pictures soon... todays fish were worth photographing.
