Try using a bigger craw type lure like a beaver with a 1/4oz worm sinker. Jig it down deeper. This was working before the water level rose. I haven't had a chance to get out since then. I caught a few 2lbers and 4lber doing this. I also caught some nice ones about 2lbs dropshotting a finesse worm. I was only using a 10inch leader though. Color didn't seem to matter a whole lot...except maybe darker colors were a little more productive. I generally do better with dark colors in stained water.

While this LMB isn't exactly big, it was about a 2 lb.er. Caught it today up the north fork passed the steel bridge. There is lots of grass going in to the water. A plastic worm rigged weedless will do well. I caught this on a Baby Brush Hog rigged weedless.

Nice one Tommy! Looks pretty healthy too. Smaller head and mouth indicates a faster growth rate than the long skinny ones with big heads. I hope the bass population makes a 100% comeback.

Try throwing a crankbait around the points. I've had my best luck on a Bandit Flat Maxx (white), Norman Deep Little N(Texas shad) and Rebel Deep Wee-R(white). Try to fish as much as you can when it is over cast or in the middle of the rain. I had a great week about 6 months ago with three fish weighing in at 7lb, 5.25lb and 4lb. I hope this helps you out. Also, I caught a 6.75 in Nov08 and it was raining pretty hard that day.

Finally got some bigger largemouths. Any plastic setup seems to work well, just need to find the right spot!
Had a 4lb one that we landed but didnt get a picture of.

Big Love on crawfish imitations, and nothing beats jamming, scratching, scooting crayfish stock a better football template of a head wearing a trailer. Especially around the rocks, where a slide slow recovery of catches, releases, deviated and bounces realistically measure the real life.
