Sunday Nov 7th Report

Postby Ca_Bass » Sun Nov 07, 2010 9:45 pm

Fished from 4 to 6 today. Tried to get to the lake by 3 but the end of the raiders game came on and I wasn't going to miss it. The was some really good schooling around BSI but I was busy tending to my son (untangling line and trying not to get hooked)...I only got two casts in and I got hit on both but didn't hook up. My wife caught 1 LGMB...but I never got situated for the busting. I think the school stayed up for about 45 seconds to a minute. The longest action I've seen for awhile. Then they stopped and we moved. I really wanted to catch some topwater fish today but only had a few blow ups.

The water was really high just a few feet below the catch and release marking on the dam pillings. Water was still pretty murky but was a little more clear around the main basin. I'm sure as the water clears fishing will improve. I think that a full day would have been quite productive.
