Fished the tournament on Sunday caught a lot of largemouth and 1 tuc. There was some schooling but it was too sparatic go chase down. Had to fish slow and deep. Bigger lures caught bigger fish. The bite was good until about noon then died down a bit for me.

Fished Mon and Tues.... 6 or 7 small peacock and largemouth a day. One or two peacock in the 3 pound range. Missed some blowups on lures. Fish not very aggressive. One shot and if you miss, the fish is gone.

Some light scattered schooling action from BSA Island to Main Basin.
(I'm thinking a bubble rig on the surface, or weighted rig worked deep might work on the schoolers) Hard rig to fish with inexperienced casters on the boat. Danger, Danger.... those long leaders whipping around your head.

Fished from BSA to Morgans Pt. Both sides... Little White 2" Senko.. pretty much slow, straight retreave leaving a "V" wake at surface. (don't try to set the hook, just keep reeling)

Ditto for Wed. Some small fish and some big blowups on larger fish.
Did get 2 nice peacock bass..... a 5 1/2 and a 3 3/4. All and all, the fishing has been tough all week.

Chris has only been using lures. I understand the live bait guys are catching some nice fish.

I have done a great man in this SERIOUS old well in my house. closed today, February 2 or 3 lbs. My father landed on yesturday 5 lbs. Every day I had about 3 hours. landed at least one per trip. lost some who are not close enough for my columns. The site is 50 meters deep, which would be. all were women, although big and fat. its area was swollen and pink

Me and Roadwarrior went out sunday. Morning was better and died around noon. Good time to eat lunch i guess. Caught my first fish ever in that lake with live bait. worked a shore line with 2 in senko and they were really chasing it, but would not take it. 6 times that happen in 2 mins. Really bumbed about the water level. I dont think its going to get fixed soon. I can see them trying to lay eggs but in a day they will be above water level. so i dunno.
