After spending a good 8 hours on the lake, I did ok. Started off a little slow. Using a big plastic worm, most of the small LMB could only pull it under, not getting the Texas rigged hook. Caught a couple by BSA Is., then found some heavy cover that was home to many smaller LMB. Caught several smaller LMB almost back to back. I then caught some peacocks back by the C&C yard. I ended up catching 10 LMB and 4 Tucs, two being small fingerlings. Seems it was feast or famine.

I guess that was you i had seen out by BSI. I was with my nephew workin that cove with the cement slab. The fishing was really good, caught peacocks all day until i ran out of bait. Tried a bunch of different lures though to no avail. Of course the biggest fish were all under extremely heavy wood cover that made them almost impossible to land. Great day though, next time i'll look a little closer at the boat and say hi.

THat cove is one of my favorite areas. The bank fishermen had it pretty well covered so I went somewhere else. The point just past that cove is another great area, when it is not submerged.

I also love that cove and I really love it during the spawn. But like you said the shore fisherman have had it on lock down. So I haven't been in there too much.
