Thanks for the help you guys.... Im thinking of new designs for lures I can make.. Thinkin a small guy

Wow, nice smallmouth. That's one of the largest I've seen.
We've been having great action on the 2 inch, white, Senkos. Only problem is that they are so fragile you only get one fish per bait.
A more durable worm would be very welcome.

Hey Filthy, I'm da guy you saw WAAAAY up the north fork.
I had a couple of strikes from very small bass. Used a black/blue sparkle lizard and a purple worm rigged weedless. They were just too big for the small bass to consume. They grabbed the tails and headed back to the grass. Not a bad way to spend an evening.

Nice roadwarrior,,, I usally have my lures on me but just had my grandfather pass and have Kinda put a hold on manufacturing... Dont even have any for myself really... End of day had just use small inline Spinners which are hard find on the Island also... Ultralight rods 1/8-1/4oz lures is killer up there...
Stan, I fly back to PA next week. I HAVE THAT 2.5" Stick even smaller than the stick I gave you earlier... Just like Yamoto but of course more durable... I'll have some for you to try 1st thing Sept......

That's what I'd call the Wilson Grand Slam. Is there a set standard for a Wilson slam already. I guess you could thrown in a red devil. Personally I'd leave the red devil out.
Nice smallmouth, I kinda forget they are here I get so caught up with the tucs even more so when they're schooling...hard to pass up.
Has anyone caught any smallmouth on the main lake?
