Hit the usual spots with some luck . Started out slow...Mostly smaller tucs at BBP. Got one nice catfish- 4 lbs. All on live bait. The tilapias are starting to work ! A few weeks ago, couldn't get a bite on tilapias, but the mosquito fish were killing it. The tucs will hit both now. Hit a honey hole near BSI around 5:30. Caught fish after fish in the 2 to 3 lb range. Had three in a row at one stretch. Had to be the best string of fish - size wise- that I have ever had ! Had to leave because it was getting dark . Have a good case of "Tuc Thumb ". Great way to finish of the week. The fish were hard to find at first, but once we found them it was awesome. Good Luck !

Sounds good. When you're fishing around BSA Is., are you putting the bait on the bottom, free swim, or along the top?

I had one set up with the split shot , and the other without. Caught with both. They even hit some bigger size baits.

I wonder if my honey hole was the same one fished on Friday?
After chatting with you at BBP, I made my way back fishing the shoreline.
I came across what looked like 2 spawning tucs but they were not
interested in lure or live bait. But at the same area I started catching tuc
after tuc in the 1-1/2 to 3 lb size. They bit on lures and live bait equally.
After 7 tucs, I had enough fun and left at around 2:30.
I had this happen before and whenever I went back the next time,
they were not there. That's fishing!

Same thing happened to Chris this morning (Mon).... lots of action with the 1 and 2 pounders. Missed some larger ones. Well,..... Except he caught the spawning tuke... 31/2 #.
Most everything was caught on the gold fly.
The rest on lures. Good day.
